Custom art made for your intention and your space.

I'm Shekinah, a painter based in Carlsbad, California. I visit your space, learn what you're building in your life, and paint a large piece designed around it. Then I install it myself.

Or learn to make your own:

Your physical space is the foundation everything else is built from.
A Portal is a piece made for one intention: yours.
You see it every day, and it brings you back to what you're working toward.

How Commission Works

We Talk

We start with a consultation call. You tell me what you’re building in your life or business, what the space is used for, and what you want the piece to hold. I’ll ask a lot of questions.

I Come to You

I visit your home or business to see the room in person: the light, the colors, how people move through it. Then I design the piece for that specific wall, so it belongs there.

I Paint and Install

I paint your original by hand and install it myself. Then I lead you through an anchoring session and give you a simple practice, so you can keep building your intention with the piece every day.

Featured Work:

“It hangs across from my desk, so it’s the first thing I see when I sit down to work. It sounds small, but it’s completely changed how I start my day and how I work. I see my Portal out of the corner of my eye and remember what I’m actually building, so I’m calmer and more focused. People who come over always ask about it, too!”

- Sasha B.

I’ve trained in classical drawing throughout my career and spent years studying meditation and the design of sacred spaces.

I believe the spaces we live and work in shape how we feel, and what we believe is possible for our lives.

You’ve built a lot already.

My work is to make the vision you’re building next visible in your home or office, so you see it every morning and keep moving toward it.
